The network of owners of the Palladian Villas invites you to immerse yourself in an itinerary to discover the palaces and villas that the genius of Andrea Palladio has made so unique that they deserve this universal recognition.

The tour begins with an introduction to the Unesco Palladian Heritage, immersing us in this way in Vicenza in the 1500s - a very rich city in its heyday - offering the information necessary for the best use of cultural attractions during the day.
 
The story takes shape during what is also a guided tour of Palazzo Valmarana Braga, where the extraordinary journey that has forever transformed the face and character of our city begins. The time has come to get on the comfortable Palladian E-bike to reach Villa La Rotonda, the most famous of the works of the great architect who right here had the opportunity to freely design his temple, which has become the icon of all villas.
 
A look from the terrace of Monte Berico presents Vicenza from above, introducing at a bird's eye the urban context of the other Palladian architectures of the historic center, which we will soon reach. So here we are back in the historic center, more precisely in the unique and exciting Olympic Theater, which awaits us with its suggestive light and sound show. The first covered theater in history, and at the same time the best representation of the ancient Greek ideal pursued by Palladio and his circle of patrons.
 
Three important Unesco Heritage buildings house original art collections: Palazzo Chiericati with its imposing facade was the river port of Venice; inside, the civic museum will unveil its collection of Venetian works of art, Tintoretto, Veronese, Sansovino and many others. The Gallerie d'Italia of Palazzo Leoni Montanari houses several original collections, from the Attic ceramics of ancient Greece to the Venetian eighteenth century, as well as other temporary exhibitions. From 2021 the Galleries of Palazzo Thiene are added with the exhibition of the Pinacoteca and important Venetian ceramics.
 
We continue with the ancient Temple of Santa Corona, a precious treasure chest of history and art, starting with the famous Pala Bellini and the naturalistic and archaeological museum and the Palladian Museum, where it is possible to discover the rich heritage of the Palladian Villas, observing from close to the wooden models and understanding the thousand facets of his extraordinary genius.
 
Finally, we enter the Basilica Palladiana, a symbolic building of Vicenza, go up to admire the view of the cameo in Piazza dei Signori from the terraces and go down among the arches, the precious Vicenza goldsmith tradition is represented at the Jewelry Museum, one of a kind. At the end of the tour, a small Palladian surprise awaits us in the welcoming Loggia dei Palladiani, where we can ideally sit down retracing the steps of our day, before returning.
