From the gentle slopes of the Berici hills come the echoes of a legendary past. The proem of this journey tells of the Gods in council. What is the destiny for the heroic Palladian Bikers? The divine verdict is favourable.
The first stage of the journey leads to the discovery of the Temple, in Villa La Rotonda, between the perfect symmetries and the genius of the agile mind of Palladio.
In the countryside of the hills, many are the Villas that long time ago were property of the noble families. In the fountain of Villa Da Schio, among the bright reflections, the wrath of Poseidon will be seen.
After a long way, to the horizon appear the bright reflections of Fimon Lake. A light breeze caresses the skin of the face, while on the river banks the nymphs narrate the fished delicacies served on the panoramic terrace of the typical restaurant.
The journey through the Hills keep going on between linen fields and mulberry rows. To the horizon the donkeys of the hills farms graze in peace, while the buzzing of the bees in the beehive reminds of the blind giant’s snore.
On the way back, Vicenza like Ithaca is quite close.
Arrived in the city center, it’s time for a toast: the Palladian Basilica pays homage to the heroes with her eternal beauty, and the old bar welcomes the bikers with an aperitif in a timeless experience.
